As a part of the Appco Group, Mantra Marketing are a part of one of the largest direct marketing companies in the UK.
About The Company
Mantra Marketing is Bristol based company that specialise in providing direct marketing for their customers. This is handled via a somewhat peculiar set up that brings new members on board selling at ground level with the opportunity to work their way up the ladder. Mantra Marketing represents an odd kind of multi-level marketing in so much as the focus is on direct commission rather than earning based on your subscriber base. As a company Mantra Marketing are a part of the larger Appco Group that are in turn a part of the Cobra Group. A confusing chain of command to say the least, and one that becomes more confusing as you look at the internal structure.
What Product am I Selling?
As a self-employed agent for Mantra Marketing you will make sales on a number of different products based on what they are instructed to sell. This could be anything from the obvious such as telecommunications packages or Sky TV to charity donations although this is far from the only things that you will offer.
How to Apply and Training
Mantra Marketing seem to be almost constantly advertising and any application can be handled online. Mantra Marketing has positions open to practically anybody who is interested (for reasons I shall explore below). Training is provided and covers customer service, sales and how to become a success full field representative (the lowest rung on the Mantra Marketing ladder).
How Much Can This Earn?
Allegedly you can earn up to £500 per week in commissions although based on my research, the figures will realistically be substantially less than this.
Conclusion
Despite the way that Mantra Marketing advertise themselves, this is door to door sales. There is very little in the way of tangible structure to this and it seems very unlikely that you will ever become successful through this method. The pay is franky shocking with some people claiming less than £100 for a 60 hour week of work. Far from a traditional multi-level marketing product, Mantra Marketing seems to be set up simply to get people interested, registered and out and selling as soon as possible.
The self-employed part appears to be farcical and a method that exists solely to keep their administration costs down. I wold recommend you avoid these and any opportunity related to the Cobra group like the plague.
