The Racing Professionals Review

The Racing Professionals is a tipster service operated by an unnamed tipster. It specialises in providing high risk, high yield tips.

What is the product?

The Racing Professionals is a service that provides horse racing selections each day via email. The numbers of tips varies hugely and can be anywhere between 1 and 9 selections per day. The Racing Professionals is all about using high odds to try and maximise return which naturally has a negative impact on the strike rate which comes in at a rather dismal looking 8.6%. This is somewhat offset however by the size of the wins which in the case of the biggest winner The Racing Professionals has achieved which has a BSP (Betfair Start Price) of 607.45. Obviously this kind of victory is exceptionally rare and in fact is the only example of a winner that is above 100 BSP. Because of this style of betting a large betting bank is a must have, as is patience.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

For what is on offer The Racing Professionals is on the expensive side with the service costing £499 for a year of selections. It is worth noting that this is a one off payment with no refund option in place. The winnings at first glance seem like a real positive with 735 points of profit made this year. When you consider the afore mentioned huge win is included in this the numbers don’t look so good and without the profits for The Racing Professionals would be a much diminished 127.55 points of profit.

Does the product provide value for money?

Personally I don’t believe that The Racing Professionals does provide value for money.

Conclusion

There is a lot about The Racing Professionals not to like, from the long odds and low strike rate to the losing streaks that can easily get into double figures. The question is whether this is worth it for big wins coming in. Of course I use the plural but to date there has only been one that is in that kind of ball Park and it carries most of the profit. Really I see The Racing Professionals as being something for gamblers rather than professional bettors and frankly, I don’t see why you would pay a lump sum of nearly £500 for bets that might be “worth a punt”.
