Created by Nathan Price and marketed through Winning Information Network, Nap Investor is a new horse racing tipster service that provides win bet selections.
What is the product?
Nap Investor is a horse racing tipster service that has a focus on backing win bets with up to 3 bets being made available each day. Staking is somewhat varied with bets being recommended at anywhere between 1 and 5 points with creator Nathan Price sends selections out directly via email. Whilst the actual selection process is kept secret Nathan Price does divulge some information. He starts by alluding to a contact network within the horse racing industry. He also talks about how he and his team analyse “breeding, past performance, race times and running style” as well as receiving all the latest gallop news. The odds on the horses that Nap Investor will be selecting are varied but are typically between 2.0 and 8.0 although odds do go into the double figures with a few high priced winners having come in. Despite these odds (which generally seem to be 3.0 and above), Nap Investor has achieved an average strike rate of 35.73% based off Winning Information Networks proofing. What is particularly impressive about this is the average isn’t really brought up by a one off month with the strike rate to date always being between 30% and 40%
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Arguably the biggest downside to Nap Investor is the costs involved with a one month subscription coming it at £57 and a quarterly subscription costing £99 (with additional VAT if you are in the EU). This makes Nap Investor one of the most expensive tipster services I have looked at on a monthly basis. There isn’t a money back guarantee in place however Winning Information Network are a part of the Betfan group which means that refund requests will be reviewed although very rarely granted. In terms of income, in just 5 months Nathan Price would have made Nap Investor subscribers an immense 717.09 points. This has been through consistent growth too which is good to see in a tipster service.
Does the product provide value for money?
Nap Investor is a new service and whilst it has definitely performed well to date the fact is it is a lot of money for a tipster service that hasn’t been operational for 6 months.
Conclusion
At the moment Nap Investor is a very difficult thing to analyse. Betfan products have something of a history of inconsistency (usually after really strong launches) and it is difficult to say that Nap Investor won’t go the same way. That having been said, £7,000 to £10 per point stakes is a figure that is hard to ignore. I’m generally rather conservative in my investments and as such I’d be inclined to spend another month to see how Nap Investor performs and if the growth continues consider subscribing at that point. The other way of looking at it is to see that there is clearly a strong run of form at the moment and buy into Nap Investor with the intent of taking full advantage of this.
