Racing Dossier Review Michael Wilding

Created by well known bettor Michael Wilding, Racing Dossier is a piece of software that he claims will automatically generate his private ratings for you

What is the product?

Michael Wilding is perhaps best known as the author of Racing Advisor however he has actually turned his hand to a number of different tipster services and betting systems with Racing Dossier being the latest example. The system itself is allegedly based on developing your own ratings for a horse rather than the traditional methods of form and statistical analysis (a method that Michael Wilding claims to have used prior to ratings with varying degrees of success).  These ratings were allegedly stumbled upon following a chance meeting in the US and eventually, through working with developers for large betting syndicates. Essentially, when working with ratings everything has a numerical value that allows you to condense all the information down to a formula of sorts that dictates which horse you should be backing based on their performance. As a piece of software, Racing Dossier is not necessarily too difficult to use however there is full training offered in order for you to understand how to incorporate Michael Wilding’s ratings into your betting. Racing Dossier also comes with full support of the creator as well as access to a private forum that covers a number of topics related to betting.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

Racing Dossier is sold on a quarterly subscription only at a cost of £49.75 per quarter. Unfortunately Michael Wilding does not really offer any money back guarantee on Racing Dossier however you can get your first quarter for a 50% discount. You can try and claim a refund however this is a rather lengthy process that only offers percentages of what you have paid based around duration and earnings etc. In terms of the returns on Racing Dossier, there is very little information available and rather tellingly, Michael Wilding does not provide any proofing to back up these ratings. With no claims in terms of how much you can make either this leaves Racing Dossier in a rather grey area in regards to profit.

Does the product provide value for money?

Personally I’m not convinced that value for money is a term that I’d use however some people may buy into the sales pitch.

Conclusion

There are plenty of claims made about how great Michael Wilding’s ratings system actually is from top tipsters using it to make their selections to the methods that led to him discovering how to create his ratings. Whilst I don’t doubt that ratings can help, I simply don’t see any evidence provided that Racing Dossier’s ratings will show anything of substance. In fact, I would go as far as to say that the marketing for Racing Dossier falls into that lazy category where the copywriter is more interested in making you believe a story rather than providing hard figures, something that I feel any betting system should be able to supply. If you are really curious, then £25 isn’t a lot to pay out for the first quarter but I would be inclined to approach Racing Dossier with somewhat measured expectations.
