What is the product?
Audience Makr is a piece of software that uses Adobe’s Air as its foundation. By using a key word search algorithm users are able to bring up lists of Facebook groups that are linked to that group. The example provided by Audience Makr is for weight loss which then brings up groups pertaining to this. From there you can start to market products relevant to the group (e.g. for weight loss books on dieting). The money making side of Audience Makr is reliant on you having products to market to these groups. The creators of Audience Makr say that you have an attentive audience in these Facebook groups as if someone is willing to invest time then they are likely to invest money.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Audience Makr is just coming off the back of a beta release where it was available for $49.95. Beta access is closed now but Audience Makr is being prepared for a full launch. Although price details have not been released yet it seems likely that the price will remain about the same or possibly a little bit more expensive. In terms of the return on your investment, there is no real quantitative result. What Audience Makr can provide are a series of marketing opportunities that because of the targeted nature should convert a reasonably high rate.
Does the product provide value for money?
I think that Audience Makr is very fairly priced for what is on offer.
Conclusion
I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Audience Makr is a must have product but it is certainly a handy tool in the internet marketers belt. Because of the nature of the product it is something that has potential longevity as it isn’t based on any gimmicky marketing techniques but instead creates old fashioned targeted advertising opportunities. More than just doing this though, Audience Makr is able to do it for a very fair price. Personally I believe that Audience Makr is definitely worth keeping an eye on for the immediate future.
