As far as training courses go, Authority Site Secrets is definitely up there in terms of quality. The author of Authority Site Secrets, Jan Roos made his name through teaching users about Amazon’s Affiliate Program and how to make money from this and this is definitely clear throughout Authority Site Secrets. The training is predominantly video based with 21 videos explaining everything to you on a step by step basis. This is all backed up by a PDF that provides users with a number of resources that can be used as well. The videos run from 15 all the way up to 45 minutes and run you through everything from building a website (which is covered in great detail in an additional 22 video course that is provided with Authority Site Secrets) to generating traffic and showing you how to monetise your site to maximise profit. Jan Roos also provides a number of plugins for your WordPress site that he personally uses. In terms of what Authority Site Secrets entails, the premise is actually rather simple. What you are trying to do is become an “authority” on a certain niche, whether these be physical or information based produces, all of which you market on an affiliate basis. This is handled through Clickbank, Amazon Affiliate and Google’s AdSense program. By becoming an authority in your niche you should be able to rank pretty quickly and get the kind of traffic that you want.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Authority Site Secrets is not cheap. There is no getting around the fact that Jan Roos is currently selling it for $495, a huge amount in anybody’s book. As well as this cost there will be the usual costs involved in running your site. Authority Site Secrets does come with a money back guarantee however this is vendor based as the transaction is handled via JVZoo. In terms of income, this is advertised as being unlimited however I do feel that this somewhat exaggerated. Whilst the methods that Authority Site Secrets offers are proven, the time and effort involved seems very glossed over. This means that realistically it may take some time before you are making money, however it can be done.
Does the product provide value for money?
Realistically, I feel that Jan Roos simply charges too much for what Authority Site Secrets offers. Whilst it looks to be a solid product, $500 is a hell of a lot for a training course.
Conclusion
Authority Site Secrets is good. In fact, it looks like it could well be one of the best training products I have looked at in a long time. The problem all comes down to how much it costs. This appears to be well written product with a solid name behind it however there isn’t anything in Authority Site Secrets that is really new. In fact, there are plenty of websites out there that offer information on similar topics. Is the quality the same, arguably not, but when literally hundreds of dollars is the price difference, it becomes quite difficult to justify.
