Created by Trevor Hawkins and marketed by James Talbot, Betting Samurai is a betting system for choosing your own winners for horse races.
What is the product?
As with most betting systems, Betting Samurai is a downloadable PDF that shows users the formula that Trevor Hawkins developed. Ultimately, this is allegedly based on an algorithm discovered by a computer program created by Trevor Hawkins. This was all allegedly part of a larger group (including James Talbot) that were trying to create a system to beat the bookies. Unfortunately outside of James Talbot’s story we don’t find out anything about, nor do we hear about how Trevor Hawkins stumbled on this betting system that is at the centre of Betting Samurai. Interestingly James Talbot claims that Betting Samurai is 100% risk free and 100% proven, neither of which claim is really backed up in any way. Finally, access to Betting Samurai is restricted and only 50 copies will be made available to the general public.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Betting Samurai sells for a one time fee of £29.99 (with VAT on top of this if you are in the EU). Further to this, because Betting Samurai is sold through Clickbank there is a 60 day money back guarantee in place. In terms of income, Betting Samurai is advertised as making £4,279 per month however these is no proofing for this or examples of the staking involved which means there could be substantial liabilities.
Does the product provide value for money?
Personally I don’t believe that Betting Samurai does provide value for money for reasons I shall explore below.
Conclusion
Betting Samurai doesn’t really answer any of the questions that it raises and this for me, simply isn’t good enough. Particularly when paired with a very conspicuous lack of proofing. My biggest concern however is that Betting Samurai follows the marketing method of putting a supposed lifestyle before the product. Much of the copy is devoted to how James Talbot went from being on Jobseekers Allowance to luxury cars, huge houses and Caribbean cruises. All of this looks great but from the evidence (or lack thereof) there seems to be very little substance and that is a concern when you shell out for a product like this. Some people might be reassured enough to paper trade based off the money back guarantee however I am not convinced by this.
