The Sports Guru is a sports betting tipster service that is rather broad in the number of sports that it covers but seemingly contradictorily in so much as they are all rather specialised selections. As touched upon The Sports Guru covers a huge number of sports ranging from American staples like baseball and football to more common examples like golf and tennis and in a first for me, selections for speedway racing, a type of motorbike racing. Selectons are sent out on an almost daily basis with bets advised as win bets and accumulators in the main with some bets also advised as each way. In terms of the selection process there is very little information provided however Betting Gods do make reference to all selections being “very well researched” suggesting a combination of form examination and statistical analysis. What is the product?

Boomerang Betting is a new tipster service (less than a month old) that is named for the alleged fact that any money that you invest in Barry Meadow’s tips will always come back to you. The service is a rather typical one whereby selections are sent out to subscribers on a daily basis, usually before 11am. The selection process is looked at a little bit with Barry Meadows saying that all of Boomerang Betting’s tips come from his own personal process. This involves looking at varous factors that influence a race. These range from things like a horses for to their previous finishing positions as well as external factors such as the track. What is the product?

According to the sales material for One Point Profits, Betfan have been inundated with requests for a simple to follow tipster service that doesn’t have a complicated staking system and is based on simple level stake betting. They then go on to say that when they encountered Sean O’Brien, they knew that he was the right tipster for the job. With that in mind, One Point Profits is a very typical horse racing tipster service offering back to win bets only on a one point staking system. According to Betfan, Sean O’Brien has been a professional punter for over a decade with a previous career as an accountant, something that he says serves him well when calculating his ratings. Unfortunately, this is about all that Betfan and Sean O’Brien have to say about the selection process. Because One Point Profits does use a single point staking system it represents significantly less risk when compared to some Betfan products however it is worth keeping in mind that a very disappointing strike rate of just 16.15% means that this isn’t the be all and end all. Mad About Footie is something of an enigma frankly. Liam Brunt does very little to provide any real information about the service and his selection process however I shall look at what I can. First and foremost, Mad About Footie is about as typical a football tipster service as you can get with Liam Brunt seeming to put the focus on UK and European games. The selection process is however missed with absolutely no information forthcoming about this. In fact, the closes that Mad About Footie comes to divulging information is a statement that Liam Brunt has been making money through football betting for 4 years as well as an allusion to value in terms of the bets that are used. This is a key part of Mad About Footie as the service will offer selections for single bets, both backing a team to win and draw, as well as half time predictors and backing both teams to score. The service is only for the week that Goodwood is on however during this you get the selections of both tipsters with Betfan cleverly labelling Glorious Goodwood Battle the battle of the egos. What is the product?

There is plenty of hype about Elite Racing Network and what it is and it is worth repeating that this is still in prelaunch so not all the information is out there. That having been said, James Fitzmaurice, Malcolm Pett and Ross Turner have given away enough information to build a pretty good idea of what Elite Racing Network entails (something that some fully launched products fail with). At the core of Elite Racing Network is “The Edge” which is described as the foundation of the methodology and the reason that you can’t fail to make money. I will explore what this does however I have to look more at Elite Racing Network as a product first. Read more

Offered by Castle Sporting Services Ltd., Horse Racing Tipping Club Service 1 and 2 are different tipster services that both seem to be heavily linked, despite being separate.

What is the product?

Horse Racing Tipping Club Service is the name for the two tipster services that are offered by Castle Sporting Services Ltd. a company that specialise in providing horse racing systems. Horse Racing Tipping Club Service 1 is the more long standing of the two having operated as an independent tipster service since 2011. Horse Racing Tipping Club Service 2 on the other hand has been operational for 11 months during which it has allegedly proven a considerable success. Castle Sporting Services Ltd. provide very little information about how exactly either of Horse Racing Tipping Club Services work although they do offer more insight into Service 1 than 2. Service 1 is claimed to be a value based affair however outside of this snippet there is very little else provided. Read more

What is the product?

Stable Kings is a horse racing tipster service that on the surface of things appears to be a fairly typical example. James Talbot claims that selections are a daily affair which are sent directly to users via email. The selection process for Stable Kings has more to do with his business partner, Andy Savage who is allegedly the son of a horse racing trainer who passed on everything that he knew. After James Talbot lost his redundancy pay on horse racing, a chance discussion allegedly brought the two together. Since then they have developed a strategy which is used to identify the selections for Stable Kings. Nowadays, James Talbot is claiming to be a millionaire punter who refers to himself as a Guru in the affiliate marketing emails. In terms of the service itself, you will probably not be surprised to find that Stable Kings offers no proofing and very little information. In fact, the only thing that is said is an unsubstantiated claim about winning a “huge percentage” of bets and that these are win bets to level stakes. Read more

Created by a tipster known only as Jack and currently marketed under  Bet Kudos (a part of the Betfan group), The Round Table Service is a relatively new horse racing tipster service.

What is the product?

The Round Table Service is a new horse racing tipster service that is yet another graduate of the Tipster Planet website that Betfan operate. The service is pretty straight forward albeit with a high volume of bets each day (seven a day doesn’t seem to be that uncommon). Bets themselves are a combination of different types with Jack mainly looking at single bets with some doubles and trixies thrown in to boost the winnings. The selection process is not something that is discussed in any detail which is rather unfortunate. Instead Jack and Bet Kudos spend a lot of the sales page talking about how so many punters lose because they follow a random tipster or lack a firm investment plan and strategy. Read more

Allegedly operated by a tipster called Carl, Golf Profiteer is a golf based tipping service that claims to be able to profit by betting in certain markets.

What is the product?

Golf Profiteer is a golf based tipster service that according to “Carl” the creator, makes specialised selections in the “wonderful” sport of golf. In terms of the selection process Golf Profiteer allegedly draws on Carl’s “natural flair for golfing profits”. Furthermore, the whole process is claimed to be based around a ratings system that incorporates physical and mental attributes which are then compared with various external factors. All of this sounds pretty impressive however as I shall explore below, I am pretty sure that I’ve heard some of this before now (literally verbatim). In terms of the service, it is claimed that Golf Profiteer will send out tips 6 days a weeks with staking advised upon subscribing. Read more
