English and Scottish Football Lay the Draw Review Kevin Steele

Created by Kevin Steele, English and Scottish Lay the Draw is a sports betting tipster service that involves lay betting on draws in British football.

What is the product?

As with a great deal of Kevin Steele’s products, English and Scottish Lay the Draw is a downloadable piece of software that identifies for you the best opportunities for laying UK football. The selections come courtesy of a series of secret filters that are applied to statistics pertaining to English and Scottish football with a view to identifying any games that are very unlikely to go to the draw. As a piece of software English and Scottish Lay the Draw  is very easy to use however it is worth keeping in mind that this is only compatible with Windows computers. To date English and Scottish Lay the Draw has produced a strike rate that comes in at staggering 99.4% allegedly with just one losing bet in 180. Read more

Mark Johnson’s Tennis Review

Created by Mark Johnson, Mark Johnson’s Tennis is a sports betting tipster service for tennis games that draws heavily on the knowledge of the creator.

What is the product?

Mark Johnson’s Tennis is a tipster service that specialises in providing selections for tennis games across the globe, usually when Mark Johnson feels that they are a valuable bet. Whilst selections aren’t sent out daily they are usually sent out around 24 hours before the day of the game. This allows plenty of time to get the bets placed. As I have already touched upon, Mark Johnson’s Tennis seems to work mostly on the experience of Mark Johnson. This wouldn’t be problematic if it weren’t for a part of the marketing material in which Mark Johnson says that he has gone from being a successful bettor on tennis to losing all of this money thorough irrational and illogical betting. This worries me a lot, not least of which is down to my questioning if it would happen again. Putting that as an aside, the results for Mark Johnson’s Tennis show quite a lot of promise with strike rates of 79%, 59% and 22% for odds between 1.5-2.9, 3.0-5.0 and 5.0-19.0 respectively. Larry the Lay King Review Tipster Warehouse

Created by Larry King and provided as a part of Tipster Warehouse’s stable of tipsters, Larry the Lay King is a lay betting horse racing tipster service.

What is the product?

Larry the Lay King is a lay betting selection service operated by Larry ‘the Lay’ King. It is a daily tipster service that provides lay bets for races across the UK. Unfortunately information behind the selection process is kept under wraps on the promotional material for Larry the Lay King, but given my experience with Tipster Warehouse’s products it will likely be based on experience and a version of statistical and/or form analysis (however this is only speculative). Since January 2014 Larry the Lay King has produced a strike rate of 76.2% based off an average of 25-35 selections per month. I would have personally expected a little more for a lay betting service as these are typically lower risk and yield when compared to backed bets. Read more

Tams Racing Tips Review

Offered by Pro Betting Club, Tams Racing Tips is a horse racing tipster service that provides email selections to subscribers for races across the UK and Ireland.

What is the product?

Tams Racing Tips is a service that offers subscribers daily for UK and Irish horse races. The number of daily selections can vary from one all the way up to four with bets taking advantage of a variety of odds, some going above 15.0 BSP. When combined with some more measured selections Tams Racing Tips has achieved an average strike rate of 30% with a win streak of 3 and a loss streak coming in at 15 losses. Whilst there are no details on the promotional material about the selection process behind Tams Racing Tips, it seems likely (based off of Pro Betting Club’s statement that the unnamed tipster spends up to 5 hours per day making selections)  that there is a lot of form and statistical analysis although this is only speculation. In the Know Review BetKudos

Offered as a part of the Betfan stable of products, In the Know is a horse racing tipster service that uses last minute selections to provide the most up to date data.

What is the product?

In the Know is something of a different tipster service to many that I look at in that it provides only occasional tips (around 4 per month), typically sent out an hour before the race begins via SMA. According Betfan this is because the tipster behind In the Know makes his selections based around last minute information about the runners in a given race. With a strike rate of 45.67% for combined win and place bets with some very good odds getting into double figures (according to BSP) there may well be something to this. This is further evidenced in the fact that In the Know has not had a losing month since June 2014. Read more

The Racing Insider Review Jenny K/Daniel Soulsby

Created by Jenny K/Daniel Soulsby, The Racing Insider is an email based horse racing tipster service that provides subscribers with daily selections.

What is the product?

The Racing Insider is a fairly typical horse racing tipster service on the surface of things. It offers up to 5 daily selections (usually sent out before 11.30am) direct to you email. The tips that The Racing Insider offers vary from 4/7 right up to 25/1 although the highest winning bet appears to be a 12/1 choice. This all comes together with an alleged strike rate of 32.96%.  The interesting part of The Racing Insider comes in looking at how the service works. The Racing Insider is allegedly authored by one Jenny K, an ex-backstretch worker who has over time developed an extensive network of informants that notify her how horses will run, etc. The Racing Insider is also linked with one Daniel Soulsby, a well known Clickbank marketer. It could simply be that he handles marketing for The Racing Insider on behalf of Jenny K, but I feel that this does need to be highlighted. Read more

Fold 4 Gold Review Betfan Stable

Offered as part of the Betfan stable of tipsters, Fold 4 Gold is a tipster service covering a number of sports and long shot bet types.

What is the product?

Fold 4 Gold is something of a unique proposition in the tipster world as the service is designed in a way that you almost anticipate losing. What Fold 4 Gold does is provide selections for horse racing, football and other sports. The bets supplied are built around things like accumulators, multiple fold bets and lucky 15’s with other examples cropping up. This service was launched by Betfan with a view to offering a more “exciting” alternative to the usual more measured tipster services on offer. Betfan further go on to say that this allows Fold 4 Gold to appeal to more casual punters. Whilst the selection method isn’t covered in any real detail Betfan elude to bringing together some of their best tipsters although the results aren’t exactly indicative of this as I shall explore below. Tom Nelson Racing Review Betting Gods

Created by the eponymous Tom Nelson, Tom Nelson Racing is a horse racing tipster service provided under the Betting Gods umbrella that uses a unique staking system.

What is the product?

Tom Nelson Racing is a horse racing tipster service that provides subscribers with daily horse racing tips. Tom Nelson Racing covers UK and Irish races with an average of 2 selections being made available each day, usually before 10am. Bets are either win or each way and use a staking plan that involves betting anywhere from 2-6 points on a bet depending on how sure Tom Nelson is that a given bet will come in. Although this does sound rather risky, Tom Nelson Racing has achieved a strike rate of 44.02% since its launch in July. Whilst there is no information provided about the selection process for Tom Nelson Racing, what appears to be apparent to me is that most of what makes up the profits for Tom Nelson Racing is the staking system. The Bookmaker’s List Review BetKudos

Offered under the Betfan subsidiary Betkudos, The Bookmaker’s List is a new horse racing tipster service that provides selections most days of the week.

What is the product?

The Bookmaker’s List provides users with horse racing selections Monday through Saturday directly to their email inbox. The selections for The Bookmaker’s List are usually sent out the evening before with selections allegedly coming from a source that is seemingly pretty high up in the bookmaker’s world. Each day that The Bookmaker’s List sends out tips they send out one horse for every race that day. These horses are apparently on the bookmaker’s list, a top secret list of horses that bookies are “worried” about. This elusive informant, one Mr. X, is a contact of a contact of a mate which seems rather tenuous. Bets are to be advised as win or place with odds that range from evens to as high as 25/1. Unfortunately, at the tiem of writing, The Bookmaker’s List has no published results online which means there is no information on strike rates etc. Read more

Stars and Stripes Review Betting Gods

Offered under the Betting Gods umbrella of tipster services, Stars and Stripes is a sports betting tipster service that is centered on US sports.

What is the product?

Stars and Stripes is a new tipster service provided through the Betting Gods group that specialises in betting on NBA, NHL and American Football. The man behind the service isn’t named but is referred to as a “US Sports Betting God” who devotes their time to monitoring trends and team news. This suggests to me that Stars and Stripes is heavily steeped in statistics and form, particularly the latter as it tends to make up a much bigger part of American sports when compared to most Europeans sports. Unfortunately this must remain speculative as Betting Gods provide no insight or information into the selection process for Stars and Stripes.  Bets for Stars and Stripes are sent out directly to your email with around 55-65 bets released each month which Betting Gods say should produce a strike rate of 58.9%. The bets follow a simple level staking plan backing win selections, total points and over under bets being the main ones that you will be betting on. Read more
