Each Way Magic Review Andrew Thompson Tipster

Created by Andrew Thompson, Each Way Magic is a horse racing tipster service that provides long odds selections to subscribers.

What is the product?

Each Way Magic is a tipster service based (not surprisingly given the title) around betting each way. Having enjoyed success with Football ACCA Tips, Andrew Thompson is now moving into horse racing with a service that puts a firm focus on what he calls value bets. This means that the average odds for Each Way Magic come in at 6/1 which will more likely than not mean a low strike rate (there is no proofing and Andrew Thompson doesn’t discuss this). That having been said if your average odds are that high you don’t need to win every race. When Each Way Magic’s selections are sent out you will also get a confidence rating for bets which is labelled 1-10 with 10 being likely to win. The selections themselves are form based with Andrew Thompson saying that he puts a lot of work into studying form records. Read more

Raid the Bookie Review Mark Robinson

Created by Mark Robinson, Raid the Bookie is a website that talks users through how to profit from exploiting loopholes in bookmaker bonuses.

What is the product?

Raid the Bookie is a product that shows its members what bookmaker offers are currently available and how to use these to make what is advertised as a risk free profit. This is achieved through a method that certainly isn’t new but I don’t believe I’ve seen presented as well as Raid the Bookie does before now. Essentially what Raid the Bookie involves is betting on certain events with initial deposits and bonuses whilst also laying the same events on the Betfair betting exchange. This means that regardless of the outcome you have won somewhere. Mark Robinson uses Raid the Bookie to not just teach you the method, but also the best bets to place including the odds you should be looking for (this is particularly important for laying bets). Raid the Bookie shows you how to do everything in an easy to follow step by step video and also charts the offers you have used on the website. It is worth keeping in mind that because of how Raid the Bookie works, you will most likely only make money from it once. Read more

Bet on the Winner Review Charlie Blackman

Created by Charlie Blackman, Bet on the Winner is a horse racing tipster service that makes selections based off horses that he believes have been undervalued by bookies.

What is the product?

Bet on the Winner is a tipster service that specialises in providing win bets for Irish and UK races. The selections come courtesy of creator Charlie Blackman however the selection process is unfortunately never really explored. The closest that we come is a claim by Charlie Blackman that he is an ex equities trader and that he draws on this alleged experience to identify value and timing. In terms of the “facts” of Bet on the Winner, Charlie Blackman says that you can expect between 50 and 60 selections per month although these are not necessarily sent out daily. The average odds for these bets are said to range from 5/1 all the way to 8/1 with a strike rate that is simply advertised as over 25% There isn’t a more precise figure available and a lack of proofing makes this impossible to calculate (whilst also providing an additional worry). One of the things that does work to your advantage with Bet on the Winner however is a level stakes system. Read more

Stableline Gold Review Simon Holden and Betfan

Created by Simon Holden and offered as a part of the Betfan stable of tipsters, Stableline Gold is a horse racing service that was Betfan’s 3rd most profitable for 2014.

What is the product?

Stableline Gold is a pretty long standing tipster service (since late 2012) that last year was one of Betfan’s best performing service. With that in mind I expected Stableline Gold to deliver an exceptional service. Creator Simon Holden says that his service is built around an extensive contact network that involves people “in the centre of each training centre” with top trainers in distinguished locations like Lambourn, Newmarket and Epsom, all of whom report directly to him, a claim that I am naturally sceptical of, namely due to a lack of substantial evidence. The statistics for Stableline Gold are slightly more promising initially with a strike rate of 30.09% for January which I would probably call above average. Selections are not a daily thing with Stableline Gold which is not a bad thing when you look at the staking system which involves level stakes of 10 points each, an amount that I found to be worryingly high. PH Tennis Betting Club Review Phil Hale

Created by Paul Hale and provided under the Bet Kudos umbrella, PH Tennis Betting Club is a tipster service that focuses on betting on Tennis.

What is the product?

PH Tennis Betting Club has actually been operational for a few years now however Paul Hale has kept it as a strictly summer affair. For 2015 however it is being launched as a season long service. Selections are sporadic due to the nature of Tennis (there simply aren’t that many games played outside of major tournaments). In terms of the selection process, Paul Hale doesn’t really offer any insight however as he points out, in tennis there are only two possible outcomes so it’s hardly the end of the world. PH Tennis Betting Club does however say that Paul Hale worked closely with online bookies for 5 years so it is rather heavily implied that he has some knowledge from this. In terms of the bets that you will be playing, they are rather varied ranging from picking a winner to doubles, triples and there is even the potential for accumulators in the future. PH Tennis Betting Club uses a staking system in which Paul Hale will advise you how much to bet which can be anywhere from 2-5 points per bet. Unfortunately there are no details of a strike rate however looking at the results for the last two summers it should be around the 50% mark although how this will carry over for a full season remains to be seen. Fusebets Betting Syndicate Review

Fusebets Betting Syndicate is a brand new betting syndicate that also offers subscribers horse racing tips. Payments from syndicate activity is paid out at the end of each month.

What is the product?

As is pretty obvious from the name, Fusebets Betting Syndicate is a betting syndicate that is pretty new (being just a little over a month old). Whilst the syndicate is the meat and veg of this, it is also worth noting that Fusebets Betting Syndicate also provides its subscibers with tips for horse racing which is a nice bonus (although technically it is the horse racing tips that you are paying for). There isn’t anything about the horse racing tipster service that seems to be that different to current examples on the market so as such I shan’t dwell on it, especially since the majority of readers will be more interested in the syndicate. Fusebets Betting Syndicate covers a huge number of sports with its service ranging from things like horse racing and football (which you would likely expect) to several American sports with some of their tipsters actually operating out of the United States. The team behind Fusebets Betting Syndicate make their selections based on the combined knowledge which given the fact that it is made up of betting enthusiasts, Professional Tipsters and statisticians suggests that this is definitely significant. Buying into Fusebets Betting Syndicate involves purchasing “subs” which are available in various multiples (each of which will increase how much you ultimately take home) with this amount going into a betting pot that Fusebets Betting Syndicate use for betting. Payments are then issued at the end of the week based around how many subs you have purchased. All of this is pretty standard for a syndicate service and doesn’t really warrant too much attention however what possibly does is the strike rate for December which comes in at a respectable 29.54%. When broken down further, Fusebets definitely seems to win more than it loses however when there are losses they can look bad. Fusebets Betting Syndicate has ultimately shown profitable for December however and there is nothing at the moment to show that this cannot be consistently achieved. As a slight aside it is also worth noting that Fusebets Betting Syndicate intend to hold social events for members to get together and share experiences and tips in the future.

Champion Bets Review Steve Hudson

Created by Steve Hudson, Champion Bets is an independent sports betting service that focuses on football and the Asian Handicap betting market.

What is the product?

Champion Bets is definitely a niche tipster service focusing on a single market in a single sport. In this case it is Asian Handicaps and football, a combination that I have seen before and has been known to produce decent results. If you aren’t familiar with Asian Handicap bets (which I don’t really believe that most average punters will be), they essentially alter odds by handicapping bigger clubs so that they have to win by a larger goal margin. Whilst selection aren’t daily (namely down to the scheduling of football), there are typically a fair amount of tips released. These are predominantly in Europe with the majority being English and Dutch football with International games also covered. Steve Hudson advises staking of 1-5 points although most are 3 points and above. Average odds come in at 2.03 points which isn’t bad when you consider that the majority of selections that Champion Bets advises are in favour of bigger clubs. This method has produced an alleged strike rate of 65% which is respectable. Unfortunately the actual selection method that Steve Hudson uses for Champion Bets isn’t ever discussed however looking at the tips that have been sent out there is a pattern. Champion Bets appears to be focused on games in which there is a clear favourite, typically backing the bigger team to win by a smaller margin. This allows you to tip the odds more favourably to you as a punter. Read more

The Winning Tipsters Review

Created by Gavin and Ben, The Winning Tipsters is an independent horse racing tipster service. Selections are sent out to users via email.

What is the product?

The Winning Tipsters is a tipster service that has been established since September 2013 during which time the creators say that it has achieved considerable success. Gavin and Ben say that The Winning Tipsters has been designed in such a fashion that it limits a users liability (with the pair rarely exceeding 12 points risked in a single days betting) whilst still allowing them to maximise profits for The Winning Tipsters subscribers. This is achieved by looking to extract the best value bets (the average odds for The Winning Tipsters are claimed to be 4/1) with Gavin and Ben claiming to have had 40/1 wins and even 100/1 doubles coming in although The Winning Tipsters isn’t entirely comprised of these bets with each way bets getting a look in as well. Selections for The Winning Tipsters are claimed to come from hours of research although this could realistically translate to almost anything. No doubt Gavin and Ben also draw heavily on their claimed 20 years of betting experience whilst also getting tips from some of the yards allegedly. This appears to be achieved through the pair allegedly owning a race horse, Mister Hendre that is in training with one Susan Corbett. Read more

Horse Racing Renegade Review Horse Racing Rates

Created by a programmer known only as Kevin on his website, Horse Racing Rates, Horse Racing Renegade is a piece of software that identifies selections for races on a daily basis.

What is the product?

Horse Racing Renegade is a downloadable application (note that it is only Windows compatible) that follows a unique set of rules to try and identify winning horses for the days races. Horse Racing Renegade stats by finding races that have 10 or less runners in which all the horses have at least 3 races worth of data behind them. After this the process is kept secret by Kevin however based on the fact that it draws on previous races my guess would be a form based rating system. When you search Horse Racing Renegade shows all the races, times and horses to back in a list format. Whatever formula Kevin actually employs for Horse Racing Renegade, it produces massively varied results with horses having odds of Betfair of anything from 2.0 to 67. This does unfortunately produce a somewhat disappointing strike rate with the proofing for Horse Racing Renegade allowing me to calculate 18.8% to date. The bets that you place seem to be mostly each way or place bets with a level staking system. It is worth noting at this point that as proofing only goes back to December it remains to be seen whether Horse Racing Renegade will do better in the new year. Read more

Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service

Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service is the new sports betting football based tipster service offered by the team behind The Racing Professionals.

What is the product?

Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service is a tipster service that uses a very specific betting type in order to find selections. This is betting on games where both teams will score and then finding a winner. The racing Professionals get around the latter half by generally backing both teams to win (so long as the odds are favourable) which does typically mean betting twice per game. Given the niche nature of the bets placed and the way football is a sport, it seems reasonable to expect that Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service is primarily statistics and form based. Selections are almost daily and are made available to a special Facebook page although for a premium you can get selections emailed directly to you. The Racing Professionals say that Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service is focussed on the ever popular concept of value bets which means that the service does seem to draw on some rather obscure matches. Whilst the majority appear to be European, Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service does seem to have games from across the world. Whilst there is no precise strike rate published, Both Teams to Score and Win Selection Service is advertised as attaining 20-30% which feels rather too vague for my liking. Read more
