What is the product?

The Syndicate is a horse racing tipster service that unlike the majority of offerings uses a number of different experts to identify selections from their own niche. The Syndicate  team is made up of Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell who between them offer advice on flat, hunt and year round bets with up to 10 selections being made available per day. The selection process for The Syndicate is obviously based on the knowledge of the team of experts however Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell all say that they use their own methods of assessing and analysing the data for upcoming races. This means that you may not necessarily get bets for every race on a given day. The Syndicate’s bets are generally win although there seems to be the possibility of each way bets also being utilised.  In terms of numbers, Agora Lifestyles have failed to supply anything tangible with no strike rate available and no sign of any proofing, something that you would expect to be in place on a tipster service. What is the product?

The Low Lay is a tipster service offering subscribers with a single tip each day. Selections are sent out via email, usually before 11.30 with all bets being lay bets.  This does mean that to use The Low Lay subscribers will need an account with a betting exchange with the most well known of these being Betfair. The Low Lay keeps all odds below 3.0 which means the recommended betting bank of 20 points should be ok. This is based off a strike rate that my research showed up at about 70% although due to the length of time that The Low Lay has been operational this is very dependent on when you subscribe. There is unfortunately no information about the selection process which is disappointing. With just one selection per day it could use a number of approaches. Read more

What is the product?

Tams Racing Tips is a service that offers subscribers daily for UK and Irish horse races. The number of daily selections can vary from one all the way up to four with bets taking advantage of a variety of odds, some going above 15.0 BSP. When combined with some more measured selections Tams Racing Tips has achieved an average strike rate of 30% with a win streak of 3 and a loss streak coming in at 15 losses. Whilst there are no details on the promotional material about the selection process behind Tams Racing Tips, it seems likely (based off of Pro Betting Club’s statement that the unnamed tipster spends up to 5 hours per day making selections)  that there is a lot of form and statistical analysis although this is only speculation. What is the product?

Tom Nelson Racing is a horse racing tipster service that provides subscribers with daily horse racing tips. Tom Nelson Racing covers UK and Irish races with an average of 2 selections being made available each day, usually before 10am. Bets are either win or each way and use a staking plan that involves betting anywhere from 2-6 points on a bet depending on how sure Tom Nelson is that a given bet will come in. Although this does sound rather risky, Tom Nelson Racing has achieved a strike rate of 44.02% since its launch in July. Whilst there is no information provided about the selection process for Tom Nelson Racing, what appears to be apparent to me is that most of what makes up the profits for Tom Nelson Racing is the staking system. What is the product?

Offering selections throughout the week (with the vast majority falling on weekends), Goal Bet Formula isn’t too different from most football services on the surface of things. Once you start to examine the bets that are offered however, it becomes apparent that Goal Bet Formula uses a betting method that I’ve never seen before in a sports betting service. The Goal Bet Formula Team make selections for players to be either first goal scorer or to score during a game with selections drawing on analysis of games in immaculate detail according to Winning Information Network. There is still value in this kind of betting with Goal Bet Formula frequently obtaining odds of 3/1 or 4/1 on bets that you would say have a very reasonable chance of coming in. That having been said, because you are betting on very specific outcomes there are plenty of losing bets suggested by Goal Bet Formula. Unfortunately Paul Price doesn’t reveal a strike rate for Stable Race Winners but a look at the results show reasonably frequent 10 or more losing streaks. Given the process that Paul Price says that he went through to find the right selection process for tips, this is a little off putting. Over a 12 month period Paul Price claims to have trialled 40 different horse racing betting systems. Whilst on the subject, Forex Triple B is compatible with the Meta Trader platform and “as many currency pairs as you like”. Forex Triple B also comes with built in stop loss and take profit systems.
