Premier Club Weekly Challenge Review Edge Racing

Offered by Edge Racing, Premier Club Weekly Challenge is a replacement sports betting tipster service for the old One Week One Grand tipster service.

What is the product?

Edge Racing seems to be undergoing a number of changes with several of their services being re launched under new names and hopefully, new approaches to betting. Premier Club Weekly Challenge is a service that puts a focus on generating a weekly income through football betting. Premier Club Weekly Challenge uses a progressive staking system that has potential to earn a decent income however there is definitely the question hanging of how long it will take you to get to this point. This is down to the fact that if it is progressive staking it is most likely to be based on a percentage meaning that you will be betting 5% of your bank (for example) rather than 5 points. This means that as you earn more, you can bet more. The selection process for Premier Club Weekly Challenge is kept under wraps which is something of a disappointment, especially since One Week One Grand failed with a big part being betting on double and triple games. In fact, the only thing that is really said about any of the process behind Premier Club Weekly Challenge is that football has been chosen because you are less likely to get your account restricted, allegedly because you are betting “on opinion”.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

There is only one option when you sign up for Premier Club Weekly Challenge which is a lifetime membership which costs £89. This isn’t the only cost however as Edge Racing say that you also have to pay a 10% commission on what you earn. There is no money back guarantee which whilst typically absent from most tipster services, seems to be on offer on most Edge Racing products. In terms of income potential, Edge Racing advertise Premier Club Weekly Challenge as being able to make you anywhere from £500 all the way up to £1,000 in a week. It is worth noting however that this figure seems rather excessive given that Premier Club Weekly Challenge recommends starting with an initial betting bank of £100 however Edge Racing also say that there are no guarantees on this figure.

Does the product provide value for money?

Personally I don’t believe that Premier Club Weekly Challenge does provide value for money for reasons I shall explore below.

Conclusion

There is a lot that could be argued as being wrong with Premier Club Weekly Challenge with the most glaring being that towards the end of 2014 Edge Racing pulled a number of products following losses. The fact is that there is nothing to suggest that their new roster won’t go the same way to date. I also have some concerns regarding the way that you pay commissions which is reminiscent of an old method whereby tipsters send out different selections to different people. Whilst it is unlikely that this is the case and it is merely a device to keep costs down, it should be mentioned. Perhaps the most pressing concern is how you are actually going to earn the figures that are claimed without massive stakes.

Even at a pretty conservative 10% you would have to have some big winners come in to get near to the £500 claimed and the fact is that this doesn’t happen often. This leads me stuck as to what the pros of Premier Club Weekly Challenge actually are, especially when you take into consideration the fact that there is no proofing for the new system. I see nothing about Premier Club Weekly Challenge that suggests that this has become a worthwhile purchase and as such I’d recommend avoiding it.
