Created by Jim Hunt and marketed by Streetwise Publications, SV-60 is advertised as a top secret trading formula that is claimed to have a 100% win rate on trades.
What is the product?
SV-60 is a product that shows you how to use creator Jim Hunt’s special formula to become a successful market trader. Spread over 10 DVD’s Jim Hunt uses SV-60 to show you how he successfully made 21 winning trades in 45 days. The actual details surrounding SV-60 are scarce to say the least and most of the copy is instead dedicated to a number of claims that are dubious at best. What is stated about SV-60 is that it has been back tested over 3 years (where it allegedly maintained a 100% win rate with no cherry picking data). Jim Hunt also says that SV-60 is able to work in any market conditions, even going as far as to ask how it can perform when they are stable as opposed to the tumultuous conditions that he has back tested it in and currently exist. Interestingly, the formula for SV-60 is actually in the title which should present itself as (S x V) – 60, something that I don’t personally see as being applicable to trading. The final thing that Jim Hunt has to say on SV-60 is that everything is based off information relayed to him through “The Formula Project” in which users sent him data and information on their trading and what did and didn’t work.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Selling for an incredible £497+VAT with no offered money back guarantee, SV-60 is definitely far from cheap. This seems rather contrary to the claims by Jim Hunt that all he is looking for are people to test his new formula and prove that it works. In terms of profits, SV-60 allegedly made a 5,624 point profit in just 45 days. There is unfortunately no evidence at all to back this up on the sales page outside of a spreadsheet table that appears to have been simply knocked together. This spreadsheet shows the 21 successful trades with profits starting at 46 points and going as high as 1400 points.
Does the product provide value for money?
Personally I don’t believe that enough evidence is provided to show that SV-60 works as claimed for it to represent value for money, especially not at almost £600 once you factor in VAT.
Conclusion
If you want to make extraordinary claims about how great your product is you have to provide some evidence. Instead we are treated to a website full of seemingly inane ramblings about a trading formula that could bring British Financial Institutions to their knees and a lengthy (if very factually incorrect) account of how Jim Hunt tried to patent SV-60 but was told by a patent lawyer that he had to show that it worked first (hence the product being offered on the market, allegedly). The fact is that SV-60 is claimed to be a 100% successful product (but not really for legal reasons). There is no evidence supplied (without paying a none refundable £497+VAT). It made over 5,000 points of profit. There is no evidence supplied of this either. In fact almost everything that Jim Hunt claims about SV-60 can be picked apart with relative ease and this doesn’t bode well for the product. Personally I would give this a miss in favour of something that might actually make you money.
I agree with the comments above whole heartedly which is why I have been doing some research on this but…You know what is needed? A forum backed by a group of investors who actually purchase and test this kind of thing so that the facts can be put out there. Very rarely do I ever come across a review for something I am researching where anyone has actually bought and tested the programme and can say categorically whether or not it is worth trying. It’s all very well reviewing the copy and making assumptions but there are no facts presented. No proof, only opinions, which is as useless as those trestimonials that smother these kinds of schemes all saying how much they enjoyed the course or what ever and are looking forward to making money, or found the presentation really impressive blah! blah! blah! no contact details, no proof the person really exists and very rarely any useful comments such as “tried it for two weeks and made an absolute fortune” or “Got my money back for the cvourse in three days, this system rocks”! etc etc.
I know this seems to be asking a lot but I am sure there are programmes/systems out there that do work and are genuine but have been badly thought through from a marketing point of view and ring all the alarm bells so we avoid them. I’m sure the group could sponsor themselves so to speak with the systems that DO work whilst exposing the ones that don’t.
Very oddly, I just found a review which has been ignored on it’s forum which states-
Quote- I have been using the sv-60 system since last week with £1000 spreadbetting account and it is already up to £1500. Some good ideas and useful tips and well worth it especially to a newbie but also a seasoned investor like me
But of course there’s no way to contact him for more info. But how useful would that be to have a forum to go to with people like that on it instead of all the well meaning contributors who actually don’t know anything more than the rest of us.
There must be a way to set this up. I’m sure also that people would pay a decent membership to join once established with good testimonials. I really wish I had more time and I’d set it up myself but I’m a mere full time boat builder searching for a way to reduce my 55 hour week.
Just putting it out there that’s all! It’s a wish!!

Just read your post Guy… you’n’me think the same about this! I too would willingly pay money to a “proper” business opportunity review service. If one such business ever existed, it’s mere existence would be a constant threat to all those internet marketers peddling rubbish that doesn’t work in the real world. What a genuinely good business it would be, too. How many people from all walks of life could it help? What momentum would follow this help for such a business?… if you believe in the “as you sow, so you reap” law, it would be difficult for such a business not to flourish both by finding an op that worked and the revenue income from genuine people like you and me who just want better for themselves without the risk of being financially stiffed. The sales copy for SV-60 talks about this Jim Hunt getting feedback from his clients before creating this “amazing” 100% trading system… well I’m dreaming too, that maybe the people at UKDropshop.com might see our comments and think about the possibilities.
