Maximum Racing Profits is a horse racing tipster service that according to Winning Information Network and its creator, involves backing horses that have the best chance of making a profit. This seems like a rather moot selling point however as this is surely the goal of any tipster service. That aside, as a service Maximum Racing Profits is a little different. As touched upon it is a highly selective service with no more than 2 selections in a day and even this is a rarity. Created by the eponymous Gary Hemming, Gary Hemming’s Place Ace is a horse racing tipster service from Winning Information Network that advises of selections on each way betting.

What is the product?

Gary Hemming’s Place Ace is creator Gary Hemming’s first attempt at launching his own professional tipster service (under the Winning Information Network umbrella). This is following on from a successful 4 month stint on Tipster Planet (another Betfan product where tipsters can go to prove themselves and their tips with a view to getting signed as a full time tipster). As you can reasonably guess from the name, Gary Hemming puts a focus on placing horses which means plenty of each way bets, around 75% of bets allegedly. The rest of Gary Hemming’s Place Ace’s bets are various combination bets such as Yankees. Selections come courtesy of a number of different places with the bulk being Gary Hemming’s research into statistics and form as well as a network of contacts that he has allegedly built up during his time in the sport. These two methods combine to produce a strike rate that at the time of writing comes in at an average of 36.4% with just one losing month in 5. Staking is rather sporadic and features bets ranging from 2 points all the way up to 5 points on individual bets whilst some examples of Yankees can hit as high as double digit stakes. Read more

What is the product?

80/20 Super Bets is a new tipster service based around the concept of splitting your stakes between two bets, a place bet and a win bet (80% and 20% respectively). Howard Davis-Shaw says that this method of betting offers insurance should a horse not win, whilst still offering the big money when they do. With that in mind, 80/20 Super Bets has not performed to an adequate standard with a strike rate of just 13.16%. This comes from a single winning bet and 4 place bets coming in. This is based off near daily bets (9 days have had selections out of a possible 11) with up to four selections per day (which means 8 bets on the 80/20 ratio). Whilst the staking for 80/20 Super Bets is somewhat interesting, Howard Davis-Shaw doesn’t explore how the selections are made which is definitely something that I would like to have seen. Because 80/20 Super Bets takes advantage of place betting, you will need to have an account through a betting exchange (the most popular of which is Betfair). Read more

What is the product?

Nap Investor is a horse racing tipster service that has a focus on backing win bets with up to 3 bets being made available each day. Staking is somewhat varied with bets being recommended at anywhere between 1 and 5 points with creator Nathan Price sends selections out directly via email.  Whilst the actual selection process is kept secret Nathan Price does divulge some information. He starts by alluding to a contact network within the horse racing industry. He also talks about how he and his team analyse “breeding, past performance, race times and running style” as well as receiving all the latest gallop news. The odds on the horses that Nap Investor will be selecting are varied but are typically between 2.0 and 8.0 although odds do go into the double figures with a few high priced winners having come in. Despite these odds (which generally seem to be 3.0 and above), Nap Investor has achieved an average strike rate of 35.73% based off Winning Information Networks proofing. What is the product?

Offering selections throughout the week (with the vast majority falling on weekends), Goal Bet Formula isn’t too different from most football services on the surface of things. Once you start to examine the bets that are offered however, it becomes apparent that Goal Bet Formula uses a betting method that I’ve never seen before in a sports betting service. The Goal Bet Formula Team make selections for players to be either first goal scorer or to score during a game with selections drawing on analysis of games in immaculate detail according to Winning Information Network. There is still value in this kind of betting with Goal Bet Formula frequently obtaining odds of 3/1 or 4/1 on bets that you would say have a very reasonable chance of coming in. That having been said, because you are betting on very specific outcomes there are plenty of losing bets suggested by Goal Bet Formula. The service is handled through the Betfan group where Steve Good Racing previously showed a lot of potential under their Tipster Planet program that sets out to find the best tipsters. Steve Good Racing uses a variety of different bets and stakes to maximise the profits which proves successful to a degree but also presents a lot of risk. Bets draw heavily on the knowledge Steve Good which is based around form and a knowledge of jockeys and trainers. Selections are for single, double and in some cases treble bets with staking that varies from 1 to 5 points. According to Betfan’s proofing Steve Good Racing has an average strike rate in the 6 months it has been operational of 47.69%. Whilst this looks fine the last three months of tips have actually been around the 30% mark. Read more

What is the product?

Gold Plated Horse Racing Profits is an email based horse racing tipster service. Provided through Winning Information Network (part of the Betfan group), creator John Dixon says that he puts a firm focus on bets that represent value. Emails with selections are marked as daily but historically this hasn’t proved to be the case with tips not being sent out occasionally. When selections are available you will be notified before 12.30pm with details including staking which is usually 3 points. Unfortunately, the selection process for finding tips is not discussed with John Dixon saying that it is a closely guarded secret. In fact, the only thing that he has to say on the matter is rather irrelevant with him comparing his dedication to Gold Plated Horse Racing Profits to being an honours graduate in politics and international relations. Whilst it is a relatively new service at just 5 months old, Gold Plated Horse Racing Profits has a reasonable strike rate of 28.48%. Read more

What is the product?

Bet 500 System is a betting system that creator Eddie Lloyd says is entirely unique. The method is said to help you beat the bookies by taking home a consistent profit. Whilst the sales material doesn’t explore how Bet 500 System works at all (always a point of contention for me), Eddie Lloyd is allegedly an ex-bookmaker employee so there is little doubt that this will feature somewhere. The product itself is a downloadable guide and comes complete with a special calculator for Bet 500 System, a results and management sheet and the usual support system. Interestingly, Bet 500 System is actually a betting system sold via Betfan and to the best of my knowledge is their first none tipster item. Read more

What is the product?

Patton Profits is a tipster service that offers daily selections to subscribers. Created by a former board member of a “major UK company”, Simon Patton, he draws on his selections using a proprietary system. This is the heart of Patton Profits and allegedly involves his own ratings for horses that is combined with form, conditions, the weight of the horse and a host of other historical and trending information. The bets recommended for Patton Profits are mostly win and each way but there may be the occasional double or Dutch bet. Simon Paton says that this is done in order to get the best possible value out of your bets. Value seems to be everything with Patton Profits as the odds for selections are usually quite high. When combined with a strike rate of 29.86% Patton Profits looks promising. Read more
